They're on Georgia time.

Another oddity.

They use Eastern time-likely because of the same Georgia mill heritage tied to the spelling of the city name- but legally the entire state of Alabama is in the Central time zone

So a large transient population like a college town is it the size of the residents or should you also count the number of students who are only there for like eight months . Not getting into the military aspect here

Going to college and serving in the military are the same thing to you? If a college student buys/rents a house, moves his/her family to a town and lives full time there for the duration of his college "tour" - count them!

Columbus/Phenix City area has 2 colleges. Columbus State University (University System of Georgia/7,000 students). Troy State has a campus in downtown Phenix City (800 students).

I live a little south and east of there. If you know where the Bleeker Junction BP Station is, that's my road.

It's a good movie too.

Need to do remake

I believe the original was pretty much barred in many places across the south and the reality was much, much worse than what was portrayed in the movie.

How many other US cities had a general threaten to flatten your city with tanks?

Right now, many areas in Columbus are the bigger shitshow.

Actually it was sensationalized and the movie is pathetic. There was no Zeke, no black child was killed and thrown out of a car. There was no fight in the creek. Sin City was only 2 blocks long.

Did I say no illegal gambling, murder, extortion, etc?
I said the movie was sensationalized, no Zeke, no little black girl murdered and thrown out of the car and the actual sin city part was no more than 2 or so blocks. That’s all I said.
How do I know? Patterson was shot in my grandfathers business parking lot. My father was one of the first two to Patterson’s car after the shots. My father was deputized by Patterson Jr. and my family was involved in the clean up.
