It's a good thing then that what matters is how they do in college then, isn't it? And every player Saban has coached has won a championship during their time at UA.

I remember them having Donovan Wilson as the top, but had to remove him and put the minimum 120 snaps because he kept getting ejected

I said "not really close", which it isn't. Delpit leads the conference in picks and also has been great in run defense and rushing the passer. Allen and others have plenty of time to catch up though.
