As a Texas fan I can feel your pain, but LSU had the argument in their favor coming into 2019.. that door is firmly shut now.

Hmm, I would have thought Stokes would have been ranked higher.

That is the key for Stingley. He got beat. He made mistakes. I feel he was slightly overhyped as unbeatable.

But damn. The kid is already at thst level as a true freshman. That is insane. I'd be happy if 3rd, 4th, and 5th year players were at that level.

That fact that we have DeVonta Smith means I don’t give a shite about how good overrated Stingley is

Satisfied with runner up to LSU. At least you are adjusting better than your gump brethren.

Obviously Stingley is, quite frankly, amazing.

I was also quite impressed with what we saw from another freshman, Cordale Flott. With Ricks coming in, I think he’s getting a little overlooked but he could show out next year.

Either way, whoever is playing opposite Stingley is going to get targeted frequently.

Was a lot of fun to watch him and the rest of the young secondary progress this season. Really looking forward to seeing what they can do next season.

They have Stokes but not Lecounte? Seems odd.

When I was reading this before I got to your post I thought he will not have six interceptions next year. Nobody is going to test that guy.

I remember Patrick Peterson’s last year basically nobody ever threw the ball to his side and just played on the other half of the field.

Then I think it was Miss st. that decided frick it we are going right at him. He had 2 picks in the first half and then they stopped throwing at him too

I thought Patrick Peterson was the best freshman corner I had ever seen until Stingley this year. Kid is going to be very special, seems like he is an even better person. LSU, you guys got a good one... Can’t wait to see him in the future.

Some Bama fans will let the LSU game and the offsides penalty in the Auburn game cloud their judgment, but Diggs had a very good season.

Have to think Tyson Campbell makes the list if he isn't injured this season. Dude was finally starting to ball out.
