Why 6 perm? That's just fricking stupid.

This one favors LSU get all the better programs! Yep that makes sense! I do not want Vanderbilt! Just not appealing. If we get at least one good recruiting ground then I am for it. Either Georgia, Texas, or Florida.

The only pod where the states are not contiguous is the East. Won’t work. UK, UTK, Vandy and Mizzou will be in the Central Pod.

Prefer 2(4) over 3(6). I would think it would help keep schedules more balanced as well.

Kentucky needs Tennessee and Vandy on our schedule, after that one of South Carolina, Mississippi State or Missouri.

Nah. We used to play LSU every year but our two longest series, going back to 1890s, are Tennessee and Vandy
LSU isn't going to want to use one of their perms on us either. They'll want Texas, Bama, A&M etc.

Agreed. That is why it is essential to figure those out first.. if not, it is a waste of time. If you can get those right, you can make the rest work.

That was my idea. Nobody responded to it so I thought most hated it. ;-)
I didn’t state the rival in each other pods but thought independently came up with it while driving today.
That would yield seven games due to pod pairing plus two non-pod rival games. (The third non-pod rival would be already covered by the pod matching.)
