If you guys post crybaby cross division schedule threads on the secrant a little more often, those of us that make the sec schedules may consider changing things for you.

When these games were setup, Tennessee was the #2 SEC team. Alabama was actually given the most difficult opponent possible.

LSU and Florida were matched up because you were seen as being equal at the time historically.

So basically, you're crying because Alabama and Florida have increased in that time, while LSU has not been able to keep up.

Out of curiosity, what team do you think Alabama should play in that spot every year instead of Tennessee?

Or is it just a matter of LSU being scared of Florida? Because for some odd reason, it's always LSU fans that seem to cry about the game, rarely Florida fans(ok, I can't think of any Florida fans that cry about it, but I'll assume it happens).

The record for this game since 1992: 16-10-1 in favor of Alabama.

Until Saban came to Alabama it was 4-10-1 in favor of Tennessee.

Were all you bitches crying back then?

LSU vs Florida series is 16-11 in favor of Florida.

It's 10-7 in favor of LSU since 2002.

So basically, LSU is crying because they don't have an easy win.

These games were designed specifically to give the league quality games every year.

You all agreed to it at expansion, and it was a condition of expanding the SEC. UGA, Auburn, Bama and UT would have vetoed.

It is not Bama's fault that UT has fallen and cannot get up, and I did not see you all complaining during the years that UF was 4-8 and whatever they were in that last year under McElwain.

South Carolina has beat Clemson 37.9% of the games they have played.

Tennessee has beat Bama 41.1% of the games they have played.

Enjoy it now. When Saban retires Bama will fall to crap again. It's going to be a fun shite show to watch.

I agree with you OP but I’m only your third upvote and the Georgia and Auburn fans refuse to give up their precious dsor and at least the old guard at Bama refuses to give up tsio. If I had the power I would swap AU and Mizzou then immediately do away with permanent cross divisional games. I’d rotate them evenly.

Keep this in mind Pierre, losing to Florida hasn't kept LSU out of the SEC champ game ever. And it hasn’t really caused LSU to finish no better than third in the SEC West the last few years. But go ahead and publically wail and gnash teeth... better yet run to the big XII where they will welcome your opinion about who should play who. LUSers.... wow, just wow.

I've never understood why LSU whines about this. The only team that should be complaining is Tennessee. We're the only team in the conference that is put at a disadvantage every year in division play because a loss to BAMA counts the same as a loss to a team in the East. Georgia, Florida, et al don't start the year with an auto-loss.

Again the Tennessee/Alabama game is half the reason that the SEC has permanent cross division games.

please define "fall to crap" and when exactly has Bama been "crap". Sure there have been a few down years during the "Mike" years but Bama did win the SEC during those down years.

Bama SECW 1st since expansion 13 years out of 27 years... longest streak not wining was from 03-08 -- a 6 year stretch still won 10 games twice during that stretch.
