Why are Auburn fans so hung up on this?

Y’all do realize we’d still play him once a year and would be recruiting against him if he was UofL. And we actually have met them in the tournament when it mattered with regularity.

It’s six of one or half dozen of another.

Calipari has 1 title at Kentucky... when he was 3-4 seasons in. Guy hasn't done shite. Pearl would win multiple titles (big blue titties) at UK.

I can’t believe Kentucky gave Cal a lifetime contract. He has one title at Kentucky.

Didn’t even make a final 4 until he got to Kentucky. Zero at UMASS and Memphis.

Pearl at Kentucky would be dangerous

Did you actually think anybody would believe this blatant lie that you outright made up and pulled out of your arse?

Why do people do shite like that and think you'll get away with it? It's pathetic, honestly

Acknowledge your lie, end tell us the real #

I agree he should have at least another title but he consistently goes farther in the tournament than any other coach in the country. Pearl is a good coach but hasn’t done anything of major significance in the tournament so there’s nothing to suggest he’d be any better than he has been. There’s maybe 2-3 coaches I would take over Cal and Pearl isn’t one

Hahaha so you really don’t know. One elite 8 at Tennessee and one final 4 at Auburn. Hate to bring some facts into this. I know Auburn fans don’t do well with those

I mean, in division I, he is correct. But he coached over 200 games in Division II and won a Division II National Championship and went deep several times. Pearl also took Wisconsin-Milwaukee to the Sweet 16, which was a pretty good accomplishment.

So going by that, you could say they both have the same amount of National Championships..

Bowl,

Could you tell us how many trips Bruce has made it past the Sweet 16 in D1? I am having a hard time remembering or finding that info. I know he made once against us in the Elite 8 (Auburn's Final 4) and once with Tennessee.

Thanks

A Final 4 at Auburn, an Elite 8 at UT, and a Sweet 16 at Wisconsin-Milwaukee aren’t of major significance?

They were stripped due to infractions.. but he did make one at UMass and one at Memphis. Are we counting vacated appearances? Just so I can keep track..

Even including those to your previous lie, your count of how many Sweet 16s Bruce has coached would STILL be low

Idk how old you are, but I know it's a miracle that someone so insanely dumb has made it this far

In all fairness, he said past the Sweet 16.. but Pearl did win a National Championship and another National Championship appearance in Division II.

Do we really need to point out again how Calipari only has 1 title at Kentucky? A blueblood program? Guy has been coaching at UK since I was 21 and I'm almost 34. OOF.

I was attending Carolina when he was still coaching this program and I got to see his arse kicked off the floor. And rushed the court when Devan Downey single-handedly beat that UK arse.

Michael,

Certainly. Bruce Pearl has coached in 5 Sweet 16s as a HC at the D1 level.

7 more in D2

If it’s so easy, remind us how many South Carolina has for Men’s BB?

Rick Pitino, Joe B. Hall, Tubby Smith all only won one championship at Kentucky as well.
