You’re telling me that that would weight more than Oregon have one more win, a win over a top 10 team, and a conference championship?

Bama got too cute with their OOC scheduling this year, trying to pretend Duke was a good team.

They should have scheduled a real opponent, not an ACC one.

They will be justly reward for such a weak schedule. It's too bad for them they were afraid to play a good team. They might have had a quality right now instead of zip.

If Bama beats Auburn by multiple scores, it's not a hard argument to make.

Oregon and Utah have zero wins over currently ranked opponents.

Their only prospect is when/if they meet in Santa Clara.

Which would be 6 vs 7 in a conference championship game and a top 10 win, two things Bama will not have ???

Big shock Finebaum would advocate for an SEC school when his show airs on the SEC Network. Furthermore, Alabama is one of the 4 best teams in country and the reason LSU fans are so uptight over this is because they are terrified of facing them again. Call Finebaum biased all you want, but the truth is LSU fans are just as biased and extremely hypocritical.

ANYONE could look at Bama's OOC schedule and see there was no good team on it, no matter what year they looked at it.

FYI, the last year Duke won 10 games was 2013, and this game was only scheduled 3 years ago, not then. When this Kickoff Game was scheduled, it was obvious Duke was just an average team, just what Bama wanted.

At least they no longer call them Kickoff Classics, since this last few have been anything but Classic.

Paul would jockey for a1abama to be in CFP even with two losses and Danielson probably has at least 2 a1abama tattoos, LOL.

Alabama didn't set to play Duke, the ACC determined the opponent. The ACC put them in the game when Miami backed out.

Not that it mattered. There was only one good ACC team this year. Any other one would have been a weak OCC game for Alabama.

Pawl is just lookin out for public safety and gotta give the gumps something to look forward to or they'll shoot somebody, poison some trees or raze a city... Alabama will burn when they get left out of the playoffs.

Oregon played that opening game without a few WRs. That carries about as much as weight as Alabama beating Auburn 11 weeks later.

Over the next 4 weeks you will see the true Paul “Bama-dickrider” Finefrick for who he truly is! He has to tamp down his Gump homerism so he doesn’t look completely biased until Bama needs his voice. Bama needs his voice bigtime right now so watch and see how much of Bama-dickrider he becomes, it will be epic!!

Oregon has bama's schedule, no sure why you would say that.

True, though I doubt they would be with a 24+ point loss to Alabama to open the season.
