So, bases on this argument only offensive candidates from the SEC need to be mentioned for the Heisman from here on out. Since all other non-SEC offensive players in the country face only cupcake defenses. So there you go. Only SEC players should win the Heisman.

This. I never thought there would be a situation where LSU would have a Heisman finalist, but I'd think somebody else deserved it. RG3 was clearly the most outstanding player in CFB this year.
Alabama fans are the most biased, illogical, shortsighted homers in college football. If Tyrann Mathieu played for Alabama, they'd put up a fricking statue and rename the stadium -- same for RG3. I do think TR should have won it but this was the deepest field of candidates we've had since I can remember. There were guys that didn't get invited to NY that would have won it in other years. Think Kellen Moore, Case Keenum and Matt Barkley. I would have understood a vote on 8-9 different players. RG3 was in 3rd place before his last game which should never have been allowed on conference championship weekend. All SEC teams that weren't in the SECCG were at a disadvantage to all Big 12 teams that played.

If you can't be unbiased you have no spot in deciding the final outcome of anything . That goes for awards and polls.
