You’d think these people that have degrees and long backgrounds in writing would know this trivial shite.

Duh.

He's going to win at least 3 more nattys in the next 7-8 years or so, then hopefully retire.

"If college football is playing checkers, Nick Saban is playing chess."

I'd say a more accurate analogy is "all of college football is playing checkers, and Nick Saban has all of his black pieces kinged and half of the damn red pieces in his lap."

Finebaum is gay but there is no doubt that Nick Saban is operating in his own galaxy right now.

Clemson fans might say Dabo is close but since they play in the ACC Dabo only has 2-3 games a year his team really has to prepare for.

Good quote, but screw Finebaum. If Saban ever has a bad season he'll try to put Saban in the grave. Finebaum can KMA. I wish everyone would turn him off so he'd go away.

He was actually bragging, a few yrs ago on his show, live, that when he was given a tour of Saban's house, that " Mrs. Terry let me look into his closet".

If he wanted to really prove his coaching mettle he would go back and try again in the NFL against the best of the best

If Meyer is successful in NFL he will trump anything Saban has done. Meyer has won titles at two schoools like Saban.
He also had a Utah team that had as big an argument as any other team before they joined PAC 12.

There were many media types who said he was finished this time last year. When Scott Cochran, our S&C coach, left for Georgia to be their ST Coordinator there were so many stories put out by the media (chief among them Kirk Herbstreit) who believed this was the signal everyone had been waiting for to announce that Nick Saban was on a downward trajectory. 44-16 and the "disappointing" 11-2 season of 2019 were seen as too much to overcome. One year later and everyone looks like a bunch of idiots....again.

So much horseshite in one post, wow.

Meyer's blowouts vs unranked teams in back to back seasons at OSU, not to mention his back to back blowout losses to Saban that led to his exit from the SEC, are more than enough to set the two coaches apart.

Any pro success Meyer has will in no way diminish what Saban has accomplished. He'll also have to do it in two seasons, which is all that will be comparable to Saban's tenure in Miami.

What a weird post.

You are correct..... lots of coaches could win with that cupcake schedule. Also they are fresh with few injuries when playoff time comes. Dabo/Clemson in the SEC would be a different narrative all together. His fame is based on little competition.

Even if Urbs wins a Super Bowl, he'll never live down being run out of the SEC by Saban

I think Finebaum does it to try to motivate Saban.

Yep plus UM is a little too soft to coach mature men who will talk back. I predict another health event real soon.

Dabo (bless his heart) is a mile behind Saban when it comes to organizing, administering and being ruthlessly aggressive in building an ultra elite athletic program...plus Saban's pretty much always the smartest guy in the room when it comes to the psychological aspect of it all.
