What a weekend for SEC commish Sankey. On Friday he gave the regular-season trophy to LSU while its coach was home on suspension. On Sunday he gave the tournament trophy to Bruce Pearl, who has Chuck Person copping a plea and a current assistant accused of taking bribes @ Penn.

Forde predicted Pearl would be fired over Person’s issue last year. He had Finebaum creaming all over himself. Now he has egg on his face instead of Finebaum’s juices.

I dont understand the "Pearl, who has Person copping a plea deal..." Part of the tweet. Pearl has possession of Person? Is still his boss? Still in contact?
