Exactly! This clown needs to go.

However, for that to happen - it's going to have to be more bad times ahead for Auburn. Because if Gus is just good enough it may be a reprieve for JJ

Look at this thread. Look at the Rant.

I would say it is pretty obvious bama fans care a lot about Dye. At least a certain subgroup of bama fans...

With as much as they bring him up, sure, why not?

I thought Eugene would follow Dye's example and cry like a bitch mid field before the Iron Bowl, the way Dye did before the 1992 game.

Only way for Gus to succeed IMO is to tell JJ to frick off, that he (Gus) is running the show and it is his team. Not sure that is possible, but if it happened, then maybe JJ won't matter.

I will go ahead and say I am not optomistic.

AJ McCarron.

I see your intent to provoke Tiger n Miami, though.

Case in point. This moron gump jumps into every thread saying this everytime Dye's name comes up.

It is a PERFECT example of how much some gumps care. They care a LOT about Dye. And always will.

I can only speak for myself, but I think he's sort of entertaining, and it's always more fun to focus on other people's dysfunction than my own. But then, I like shows like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of the bad plastic surgery and catfights.

If he wasn't running his trap on Finebaum every week stirring up shite it wouldn't be an issue....why would Bama fans worry about another mediocre Auburn coach that was processed 20 years ago?......He also comes across as a complete fool with crap like the "10 sabans" comment and he just undercut your hire with his most recent remarks

Serious question and not a flame: Why do you AU fans believe he is allowed to effectively be the public face of AU on these issues?....he is more prominent than Jacobs, your President, or the BOT?

Hell we all have our moron fans... just jump over to the Rant to see LSU's - at least they keep theirs in one location. Ours are scattered out across several message boards.

in closing.. I was hoping for a really good hire for Auburn and think this is just a bunt single. You can score on a bunt single but theres a lot more work to getting there.

Good luck Aub.. I have to go back to work.

Only to you gumps. And that is only because gumps listen to Finebaum all the time. Which really tells you a lot about the mind of a gump.

That's fricked up he doesn't get to pick his staff. Why would you hire a guy you didn't trust to do that?

Its always gump this or gump that to you isn't it? You're the biggest Bama hater and flamer on this site and that is saying something. Its killing you inside isn't it? That Bama is playing for another title and AU just bothced its HC hire....again!

maybe there are a few dumbasses who are stuck on Dye. I certainly cant account for every dumbass in the fan base.

But, IMO, bama fans care much more about Auburn than Pat Dye individually. Its just that Dye seems to be at the forefront of this debacle (along with Jacobs). If Dye would go away, no one would care. But it doesnt help at all when you've got him playing to the Finebaum crowd all the time.

LMFAO

Y'all named the field after the convicted NCAA cheat, gave him an office in the football complex, he goes on the radio weekly and embarrasses himself and the Auburn "family", but he has no influence and isn't its figure head. Got it.

The reason people like laughing at the overrated OL geezer is the same reason people stare at car wrecks. And it pisses y'all off.

Hence my comparison to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
