Are Auburn fans really acting like this means nothing? Its Iron Bowl Week and Mr. Craneworks doesn't call in to Finebaum?
Come on, guys. You are giving new meaning to "head in the sand." Pat Dye has an office at Auburn. Chizik let him back in the fold. He meets with the coaches every Monday morning. Him not calling in to Finebaum is HUGE regarding the questions he doesn't want to answer or face.
Thinking otherwise is just dumb.

FWIW, I thought Finebaum went a little overboard calling Dye out. I mean, what if Dye had a heart attack or something serious?
That said, if nothing serious came up, it is very interesting and baffling that Dye would not at least let them know he wouldn't be coming on today.

if it were any other week besides this one, i'd say that Finebaum told him not to call in to try to stir the pot and get people talking about the show more than they already do...since its Iron Bowl week though, you never know...

lol, maybe that rumor out of South Carolina about their coaches being informed by the SEC to prepare for LSU or Arkansas was correct.

This is probably just part of the "no comment" stance Auburn has taken for the last week and a half. Plus, if you were in the midst of an NCAA investigation would you really want Pat Dye's drunk arse to go on a radio show hosted by a notorious instigator where he might get goaded into a drunken rant and let something slip? This isn't indicative that things are worse than most people already know they are down on the plains.
