show me where the persons life was ruined (the one you mentioned) and I will take back everything i have ever said about you and any of the posts you have made.

show me where this person will no longer be able to hold a job, or finish school, or have a decent life. show me where what was said has had them kicked out of school, homeless or otherwise.

What I envision happening at ITAT when these "big" stories break.

I personally am not upset. I was making plenty of ho' jokes in the thread the other day. No skin off my back (though, as you say, if I were related to or a friend of one of the hosts, I might think different).

All I am saying is that those in charge at the U. of A., here in the Age of Updyke, just might not appreciate the pastor of the UNIVERSITY Lutheran Church as well as a representative of their CAMPUS Ministry calling the official hosts of Auburn University whores.

And if you think those in charge at UA (who are likely very much concerned with PR) would *not* be concerned, I wish you would explain why you think that is.

I do attend Church regularly and read the Bible. I have a long way to go, but I find salvation through Jesus Christ. I do not want to turn this into a Bible thread as I am not an expert, I was very upset that a minister would say such a thing. In fact I was shocked. When I saw he had a connection to Alabama, I was in complete shock. I thought it would be some small town minister without proper training..

The verse you mention is below, but there is a time to live and a time to die, a time to fight and a time to turn the other cheek (not the exact verse)..

So your verse is not a rule for all situations.

I have plenty of thick skin. dude - playing a song in a stadium is not slande - stop being a fricking drama queen and lighten the frick up.

I do not have a daughter, and like Beatbammer said - if I did, i'm sure i would look a little differently on it, but then i may not - if it isn;t directly affecting me - then its not worth my time to worry about. if you have a family friend directly impacted, well if they get offended by meaningless words - then thats on them.

should he have said what he said, probly not - but it is no more wrong what he said than anything else people have said here about him - including you posting his personal info - regardless of what he said on Facebook or how easy his info was to find.
