In light of our resident OM fans suddenly claiming none of their fan base boasted that Pete was a better coach than Lane….you guys need to go find the receipts.

Why would anyone claim that? He doesn't even have a full season under his belt. Most of us just threw our support behind him for the playoffs (because that's what you do), but took a wait and see attitude for his first season.

Will Golding be a better coach than Lane? Yet to be seen. If we’re talking currently, then yeah, Golding is not the same level as Lyin Lane.
But in time he may surpass him. May be easy to after Lane moves on to the NFL or leaves LSU in controversy within a couple of years.

I believe you may have missed my point
I didn’t post about the future. I posted about how OM fans have told us all summer they for the better coach
And BTW, even you don’t believe that Pete will be a better coach than Kiffin in the future.
Once Chambless leaves, reality will quickly set in that OM hired a defensive coach to be their HC
