Obviously not a huge surprise, but it still sucks.

Official Announcement - Pac-12 will play conference only schedule

Hope we get the game back in the future.

Who needs a ticket for Arlington in September? I’ve got three to unload now.

Big domino just dropped first.
Let's get behind an all SEC schedule baws. Looking forward to Auburn vs. Tenner and Gators...

How does playing only in your conference matter? People traveling everywhere as it is.

It's all about money. It isn't cost effective to pay schools $800k to come to play in your stadium if you're only gonna get 25% of the revenue due to reduced crowds. The bigger OOC games are just a casuality of that.

Their uniforms are already kind of reddish. What more do you want?

I'm assuming that you're talking about the Bama/SC game. If the conference doesn't cancel that game too then the schools can't use the virus to get out of their contracts with the smaller schools.

Stewart Mandel:

I don't think these non-conference decisions are about distance (everything in the Pac-12 is a flight). The reasoning is:

-- Ability to enforce uniform testing protocols
-- Flexibility where, if games get canceled, you know there's an open week for both teams.
