Yeah. Along Univeristy Avenue there are people with smokers and shite.
Well I obviously didn't see this, so I'll concede that it's more than likely there.

etc for a 150 years has made a big difference.
I guess our soil hasn't? I mean LSU was founded in 1860.

I guess I'm so used to it that I really don't even think about or notice it. I even feel strange not drinking out of cups at tailgates. I drink out of cups when I tailgate for games at FedEx Field, for example.
Congrats for being conditioned like Pavlov's dogs. Some of us aren't used to your crazy rules.
I'm over this debate. I've enjoyed Oxford when I've gone, and I'll definitely go again.

Look, I'm not about to do soil samples and shite of both schools' campuses. I'm just going by the given explanation. Really, why else would they have a problem with smokers and grills?

I mean, you probably don't feel strange when wearing a baseball cap with a tiger tail sticking out of the back of it. You're like Pavlov's Tigers. Nobody feels wierd doing something they're used to doing; that's sorta the definition of the term "to be used to" isn't it?
ETA: And back at you with the cheers. Like I said, I like LSU's scene aside from the less couth portion of your fan base. It's the yin to the Ole Miss yang.

Sorry I left my sport coat back in BR for the game this year.

T-Town is a better trip.
Harder to get tickets. Better game day experience there
Sorry Grovers. Tailgating in T-Town would be preferable for an aTm'er.
And inside the stadium is impressive.

You'll have an endless amount of picture taking at Ttown for potential candidates of People of Wal-Mart. Choose Wisely

If you want to experience what the SEC is about, Oxford, MS is not where you go. Fun place to go to college, but Ole Miss is not SEC football.

Well our trees are alive so that makes it a better trip than Auburn, AL.

I guess there was something we could have done collectively to prevent it from happening.

So basically you didn't enjoy Oxford because you lost?
Jesus, some of y'all have some really delicate sensibilities.
I guess you missed the part where I went in 1999, 2001 (another loss), 2003 (the weekend I disliked), 2005, 2007, and 2009. But carry one. My post on that weekend had nothing to do with the intent of this thread, it was showing that Baton Rouge isn't the only place where assholes reside.

You must have ran into my grandpa that weekend. I can remember him talking some shite

I love going to Oxford. The 2011 game was the first I had missed since '97. I have several friends that graduated from Ole Miss. But that weekend in 2003 was far worse than anything I had experienced at other places (including LSU), but it wasn't enough to keep me from coming back.

Strangely enough, the worst I've dealt with has been in knoxville.

The second worst experience, for myself, would be my 2004 trip to Knoxville.
