He almost took the pitcher’s head off with a 2 RBI single. We’re good.

Really? Really? Arkansas can put up 7 in one inning without blinking. And you talk smack? WTF?

Outplayed : We hit it better. Put together better ABs inning after inning. We made the big pitches when we needed them. Arkansas didn’t have a hit with a RISP til the 9th.
Outcoached : Dave Van Horn will be tossing and turning in his sleep over not starting McEntire tonight. Ole Miss offense felt a little disrespected by that. Also stayed with some pitchers 2-3 batters too long.
Outclassed : I saw the cameras scanning around the Hawg fan sections this game. Oh my God. If you’re here in Memphis and wanna take your kids to the zoo this is the week. Let’s just say there will be a lot more elbow room.

I think DVH knew Arkansas was headed for a buzzsaw in this game. So he cautiously picked Morris to see how he would do against the hot bats of Ole Miss. Seeing that it was over by the fifth with the bats going cold, he decided not to waste his good arms and try and win a near impossible game. He was thinking use the scrubs and save the arms tomorrow.

How many pitchers did he use? 7? That Wiggins kid threw like eleventy hundred 95+ heaters in a row. Howitzer arm.

Ole Miss gave 2 shots about who Arkansas started. McEntire has maybe 2 more starts this year than Morris does. It had no bearing on the game. DVH gambled with the lefty, playing the odds correctly, and lost tonight. Ole Miss is playing well, I hope they think it’s a done deal like their fans seem to. See you guys on Wednesday

Wiggins wasn't dependable. He for a very short time was the Sunday starter but after getting blitzed multiple times, got the hook quickly. He has the stuff but mentally doesn't have it.

After Noland was done. Trying to find a good pitcher in this group is slim pickings. Hagan Smith is maybe your only other dependable pitcher that Arkansas has but you don't really know what he would bring because he has had bad games as well.
