Not to bad for a redshirt freshmen going up against a top NFL prospect in the Texas game! Byron Murphy is one of the best defensive linemen in the country.
Should outperform that fat arse we had this year that rolled the ball to Milroe half the time!

Needed him bad to solidify the OL for next year. He understands the schemes and can call the protections. Just need to size him up a little. Deboers offense is SOOOOO much better than the one Saban was having run.

I can't believe bama put up with Saban so long with the inferior product he was putting on the field. Sounds like the problems are solved now though.

Watched the first half of the video, UW had to give the center help with the double team on Murphy on every play, even the one where Murphy blew past the center and the guard.

Well Murphy is one of the best D linemen in college football and has much more experience. The kid is a redshirt freshman.

Not so sure about allmof that. I think Dees did pretty good this year with what he had to work with. We did win 6NC under Saban and we had Sarkesian and Lane Kiffin on staff. I think we were ok on offense. Our O-line gave up 48 sacks. O-line was our biggest problem

I don't know what Saban was thinking. He obviously didn't know what he was doing trying to run a much inferior Offense. It was definitely time for him to go.

Saban won on talent, not coaching. The ability for him to recruit unreal talent and horde them is now over.
