They’ll be fine. Very shortsighted to just start a coaching carousel. That’s how you end up like Texas circa 2010-2022

Lol they’ll be competing with Texas/georgia/lsu/alabama in a few years after the adjustment period.
No offense, but we aren’t Arkansas.

You tied your wagon to Texas. Now deal with it.

Agreed as okie said no Nebraska. Good location near Texas should divide Texas talent with am Tex ok no big 12 for elites , oil money nil

Not these last 12 years.
Hopefully Arkansas finishes strong down the stretch and get to the middle of the pack consistently.

You retarded POS. You have one mediocre year and now you believe you get to talk shite about one of the top 5 greatest programs, top all time wins, all time NC teams, all time heisman winning programs. You don’t hold a turd from their jockstrap. The SEC or Big 12 has nothing to do with their problems this year. GTFOH, gay boy

Gtfo, their coach literally left them to avoid having to go to the SEC starting this entire chain of events.

You act like they had a choice. You forget that Texas told them they were going to the SEC.

They had a choice. Just like A&M did. We chose to go our own path. OU is defined as Texas’s counterpart.
I think regardless they are screwed because of NIL.

They’ll never turn into Nebraska because they’ll always get some players from Texas.
That said, they are going to struggle now that NIL is a thing. I recently went to Norman and was absolutely stunned how brutal that town and campus is. It is basically a run down suburb of OKC. I can’t imagine there is a worse town/campus in the SEC.
Now that everybody in the SEC has $ to spend on recruits, recruits are not going to want to spend three or four years of their lives in that place. Think flat and the color brown, that is basically Norman.

No lies detected.
Similar to Alabama in that, if you aren’t operating in a closed ecosystem, where is the differentiation and reasoning for putting up with an inferior place?
Alabama and Oklahoma made sense when it was a necessary evil to live there, because it was a professional sports factory and that was how you were able to earn. Now you can do that anywhere. Come to Austin for a year and get an orange Lamborghini, etc.
It’s like the NBA free agency in a way, guys don’t want to live in Dallas or OKC or Memphis all things considered, they want to be in Miami and LA and NYC.
These college athletes have a lot more in common culturally to NBA players than you and I living in some suburb or backwater state like MS or AL and eking out a living.

So 9-3 and beat Texas.
That sounds about like a 5-7 SEC record to me.
"If we were in the Big 12 it would be just as bad".
Well, you are in the SEC pod now, and arguments like that just get your arse beat. Now give me your cupcake.

I mean, if the playoff wasn’t about to give 4 autobids to the B1G and the SEC then they should have stayed.
But knowing that, they should have gone to the B1G. Much better fit for them and easier to win. In the SEC they’ll be at too much of a disadvantage. As I’ve been saying since it was announced, OU joining the SEC makes them Nebraska 2.0.

A&M has sucked pretty bad for the last 12 years, so does that mean you all should have stayed in the Big 12?
We'll be fine. If we just had a decent offense, we're likely 7-1 right now and everyone's talking about how great we're doing. If BV can't get it right then we'll find someone who can.
