In 2021, WR Spencer Jones got into a brawl in a bar restroom. Apparently his buddy (former player) had hit another guy, and Jones stepped in. Guy with MMA training beat the crap out of him. No charges were filed.

Nice fiction, but the video is out there. He confronted two frat dudes who were (allegedly) giving him a hard time outside the restaurant. She was with those dudes. She pushed him, then slapped him, and he slapped her back. She got injured because she hit her face on the edge of a table going down.

What is interesting about the Mixon deal and how it was handled is that in the months just previous to Mixon's situation...
Nigel Bethel at Texas Tech and Jalen Mills at LSU were both arrested for punching chicks.
Neither one were reacting to being hit themselves like Mixon was.
Neither were kicked off of their respective teams...
Much of Stoops' response was based on how those two incidents were handled.

Yup. And there's a very weird story about the whole thing that people would never guess no matter how many times they try. So they just fill in the blanks with "a spurned pickup attempt gone bad" because they're certain that's what was going on in that video.
