Vols all more likely to be another coach after Josh than Riley is to leave in the next three years.

Call Lincoln Riley’s offense whatever you want. I don’t care. It’s air raid dominant passing concepts with counter run concepts. Sooners are so lame
You could have said "Zone Read" and I might have considered you a little less ignorant. You would have been a little closer. Still a dumbass, but a little closer.

Riley has said multiple times he’s not interested in the NFL, hence he hasn’t had any NFL interest since 2019. You can just say you are scared tho.

Neither of the current HC's at Texas or OU are likely to be there. PeeWee Sarkisian will be fired by then, and Riley will move on instead of dealing with an SEC schedule.

This guy is scared to death of OU, he’s got accounts on all the OU sites and just lurks for years in pure fear. I think he’s the one along with oldsarge that claimed OU was a dead program back in 2016ish. I think I have it bookmarked even lol.

It's on my 2nd post in this thread, before that DIRECT quote because the topic is Riley.

No HC in good standing has ever left Oklahoma for an NFL job or any other job.

Most (99%) of people didnt know who Lincoln Riley was before OU so something tells me they will be just fine.

Definitely won't be Josh Heupel. Good luck with that.
This guy gets it.

I read it the first time I read the thread. That changes nothing. My response was directly to the quote I posted....which was in a later post. If you're going to be a participating member of the board, then you need to not leave such easily recognized loose ends.
FWIW, Riley would be a fool to leave Norman for ANY job...college or NFL. He has all the tools/support he needs to build his own legacy at OU if he continues in his current trajectory

You’re correct about counter run concepts. It’s called a Trey Counter. I hate the term air raid because Riley is beyond air raid. He does mix two different types of offenses. He’s simply ahead of everyone one in regards to creativity.

He should share with the class exactly what an "air raid passing concept" is.

I won’t pretend to know just how great a job the OU HC gig is. From my vantage point, I think it’s a great job. But, I think there are a dozen really good collegiate jobs. The history shows that as long as the head coach at OU is winning and does not get fired, they tend to stay a while. I don’t expect Riley to leave for a long long time. However, stranger things have happened. He has worked really hard to fix the defense the last few years. Hopefully, we see the dividends this year. The last few Mike Stoops years, the defense was abysmal. Grinch seems to have it headed the right way.
