I don’t mind it as long as it isn’t the perpetual losers A&M and Missouri doing it.
I actually rooted for both to have success when they moved to the SEC but once they spent year after year trashing the school that dominated them I gave up on it. It was clear both simply joined the SEC to ride on ‘Bama’s jock.

You give out 13 participation trophies every year. Every damn one or those 13 celebrate Alabama’s wins because it makes them feel superior and excuses all of their losses. Even OOC losses don’t count because they “just didn’t want to be there.”
Arkansas perfected it. They are champions because Alabama. It is their little participation trophy.
Edit: I overstated this. There are plenty of fans who don’t do this and almost all fans of some teams (LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Auburn) who really do live and die by their own team’s performance.
Arkansas, Missouri, and especially A&M are happy to get their “we are better than OU because ‘Bama” participation trophies.

Yesterday I was hesitant to agree. I try to avoid that type of thinking.
But something is wrong with Rattler and I am wondering if it is time to do that.
I don’t think Riley will because his rep is getting guys in the NFL. Rattler has the physical tools and will be drafted high even if his stock is falling. Don’t think Riley wants the fallout of jeopardizing that.
