Is there still time to back out of this deal? We have to many yankee teams in the conference already, aTm and Mizzou.

TAMU and Mizzou at least brought something by opening tv markets. Texas and Oklahoma don't add a thing. It's not as though we're a conference in desperate need of quality competition. They're good programs, sure but we already have good programs. We're supposed to be the SEC.
This deal reeks of having been done solely for the sake of doing it. The drift toward mega conferences will eventually end like it did before. The SEC was formed out the remains of one.

Only observation so far is SEC fans seem to complain about refs way too much. Is this something we will continue to see or is it just a fad?
Basing comments on what I read here. Seems every loss is ref caused. Now, I don’t lump all fans the same it may just be certain fanbases but board is too busy to keep track of the whiners schools. This is aimed only at the “ref lost us that game” crowd.
Only observation so far is SEC fans seem to complain about refs way too much. Is this something we will continue to see or is it just a fad?

Did you read it? I did and it is about getting OU ready to make the change and be prepared for some early struggle in the SEC. OU being in the Big 12 and winning the conference most of the time. Going to the SEC will be a lot harder and OU will have work to do to get to the top of the SEC.
