Schwartz, Ruggs and Waddle all ran faster 100 meter times in high school than Brown.

Brown is awesome, but we've seen plenty of fast guys and see them everyday in practice.

Pretty sure Auburn has a WR who is a track guy and is the fastest player in college football. Someone from Auburn will have to confirm

Schwartz at Auburn is arguably the top sprinter in American HS history. IIRC he has 3 of the 5 fastest 100M dash times ever in HS and would be a legit candidate to qualify for the US Olympic team in that event if he dedicated himself to that sport. He's definitely one of the 10-15 fastest track athletes in America.

Look at the Bama vs Ole Miss game.

Ole Miss is very similar statistically as Oklahoma only they played much better defenses...

ps- He will be the fastest player on the field (sans Hollywood Brown) and also that Alabama has faced this season. FYI.

You ever heard of Anthony Schwartz? Check him out and get back to us.

He's not any bigger physically..well maybe slightly. Probably much much better decision makingwise though. I've never seen a QB do what he does in the open field though. Maybe not even Vick.

None of Bamas wrs runs 4.21 and that’s a nfl electronic time... and he has ran it three times. I don’t care what they ran in highschool... this is college football and Brown when healthy is the fastest on the field.

In English, please?

I still have not been able to decipher the mystery of why the #110 offense managed to circus bang the Sooner defense to the tune of 40 fricking points----in Norman.

'Oklahoma's football team is very similar to Alabama's football team....except for the entire defensive side of the ball. '

As I said in another thread, the defense has massively underachieved. They weren't scrubs no one wanted,etc...That said, they just aren't what they were thought to be, BUT, being a 'glass half full' kind of fan and looking for any bright spot on the defensive side, I came up with this:

Giving up points to teams is something this team has experienced nearly every game. The team is very accustomed to looking awful on defense, giving up many points and still winning. The key, as other games have, may come down to simply making that one key stop late in the game and letting the offense roll as it has..

Good post. Think Bama does have one edge on offense and that’s at running back. If Rodney Anderson was hurt I probably wouldn’t say that but now we are down to our 2nd and 4th string running backs. I haven’t liked what I seen out of our running the last game vs Texas. We have ran well all season almost 300 yards a game but I think the well has dried up, hope I am wrong. Georgia pounded the run vs Bama but didn’t really break any long ones. UGA running backs together probably are better than Bama just my opinion so I don’t think Riley will be trying to run a bunch just enough to keep Bama on their toes.

For the love of God will someone teach this hillbilly how to use the fricking quote function?

Bama's defense sees an offense as good as OK's offense EVERY frickING DAY.

Brown may be a great receiver, but Bama has FOUR elite receivers. Then, throw in Irv Smith.

Our defense can stop your offense more times than your defense can stop our offense baw.

It really is that simple.

What was Brown's time? I thought Smithy had him beat too?

OU - Alabama quick analysis

49 + 92 = ~1.5

That's my analysis from objective observation.

Bottom line-

Alabama will be able to stop OU's offense several times during the game

Oklahoma has no chance of stopping Alabama's offense.

Alabama will win by 24+, and the game might be over by halftime....

Actually Bama has never seen a offense as good as OUs because we are rewriting history and your a distant number 2 distant.

1. what? :D
2. highly doubtful. the element you are overlooking is you don't have an offensive genius at your helm. We do.

The Citadel scored points on Alabama, who was taken to the wire by Georgia, who was destroyed by an LSU team who couldn't even score a field goal against Alabama while in Baton Rouge.

Maybe there's hope? SEC defense or putrid offense?

vs. Texas Tech, the SEC's worst defense (Ole Miss) held the Red Raider Rash to 27 points and won by 20.

Oklahoma allowed 46 points and needed a blocked PAT return to win by 5.
