Historically Leach’s QBs are among the least sacked in CFB. Last year
Burrow 527 attempts, sacked 34 times
Wazzou QB 689 attempts, sacked 20.
How's that working against SEC teams with a defensive pulse?

You mean Against the 5th worst OL in CFB??
I’m sorry the stats over decades proved you wrong. You don’t have to get all In your feelings and be irrational.
Always loved the “well, against teams with a pulse” argument.
Translation: Against teams with future pro players.
No shite, you give a MS team any offense you want, they won’t beat the HS team. If there was such a scheme everybody would be using it

Not sure how feelings matter here. Take a one-dimensional passing game into the NFL with that pro speed and athleticism and watch the carnage. Leach's success at that level is pure theory and pretty much how you "feel."
Leach had one of the best running backs in the SEC and wouldn't or couldn't run him for balance and a mismatch in his version of the air raid. Even when suspect defenses rushed only 3 defensive linemen? The idea that someday the best SEC defenses can't match up with that one-dimensional idea is purely hypothetical on your part. Should rank up there with evolution.

Nothing how I feel, just the facts and stats backing em up.
Not my problem if you can’t accept it.
Leach hasn’t changed his idea of “balance” in over 20 years. How many of his QBs have been injured due to overload blitzing?

SEC teams are passing more than ever, and most defenses are waaay down in rankings.
So feel free to stop the Muh SEC defenses talk.
That shite don’t fly anymore. When’s the last time you saw a 17-13 game between 2 heavyweights??

Dude, we accidentally hurt Costello Saturday. We paid zero attention to anything that looked suspiciously like a running back with our 3 man front And defensive pressure was hardly the theme of the day. When we got the dawgs in long and distance we brought in our 2 edge rushers and affected Costello and Rogers immediately, even sacking a few times. Dropping 8 was all it took to completely cut off Leach's water. They had to keep their 1st string in the entire game, even when we subbed our defense just to make it to 200 total yards.
This off-season, given that most of the SEC teams on the dawgs schedule have taken turns doing the same thing with the same results with much less talent, Leach might want to think a little about reinventing the offensive wheel in the SEC.

And you just admitted what I was saying. Bama out big boy’d State’s OL with only 3 guys. State had one run of 20 yards, the next 10 tuns avg’d 1.3 ypc... with Bama like you said, totally disregarding any run threat

When you can pressure ANY QB with just your DL and drop everyone else into coverage. That hurts ANY offense. Ask Future HOF QB Tom Brady and his undefeated record breaking offense vs the Giants DL in the SB
I’m glad you finally agree that States OL sucks

You just agreed that Leach's QBs don't often get sacked. The QBs still can't complete much and pose little to no threat.
From what I've "seen" this air raid exploiting and stressing any area of an SEC defense, is doing some serious "sucking" of its own.

Comprehension clearly not your strong suit.
I said -and proved- despite all the passes thrown yearly by his QBs that his guys are rarely sacked.
Then I said -and proved and even you admitted- that State’s OL is HS level bad vs CFB teams. Then going off of that I said and proved again that ANY QB will struggle in ANY system when opposing defenses can rush their DL and get instant -your words- pressure
You’re really making yourself look foolish here, I honestly can’t tell if you believe your stuff or if you’re just trolling at this point. Either way, have a good one, I’m off to lunch

Joe Biden should be able to run against a 3 man front, dropping 8. The leading rusher from a year ago with hardly an attempt just motivated himself to get ready for the draft.
When Kentucky ran Leach's air raid it was a novelty. Most SEC defenses at the time were built to stop 12 personnel offenses in the pro-set. There was a lot of shock and awe. Today, not so much. Most of the SEC run their own version of the HUNH RPO spread look and many with air raid concepts. They practice against these spread concepts every day. Including Alabama.

The NFL is moving to Air RAID concepts. Mike Leach is respected by every coach in the NFL. If you’re telling me that Hill wouldn’t improve his draft stock by learning his system, you’re wrong. He quit because he didn’t want to learn how to pass block. There is no place in the NFL for a RB that is too proud to protect his quarterback. That kid just cost himself millions.
I told someone earlier today that with his twitter garbage about quitting over the state flag to pissing off teammates and now quitting 5 games into the season, NFL teams are probably not going to gamble on him early.
He will NOT be a first round pick and he is costing himself MILLIONS of dollars.
