I certainly won't deny that. LSU fans have every reason to be excited. We all know that there are no guarantees. 4 years from now, LSU could be celebrating a national championship, or they could be moaning about having to pay Gus Malzahn level alimony. Or somewhere in between.

Well, Kirby is about to go to the playoffs for the second time, so that at least ties him with Brian Kelly. And, Kirby has actually won a playoff game and played for a national Championship, so that puts him ahead of Kelly, wouldn't you say?
