Kind of bold to dismiss UGA before the the first game is played. Georgia is not going to have the drop off on defense that everyone seems to be so convinced about.
Kirby can still coach defense along with Muschamp.
Ohio St has not played good defense in several years. You don't fix that overnight, I don't care who they hired to be the fixer.
I do look for Alabama to be in the hunt all season long.
I think Utah is going to be another team in the conversation.

The one thing expansion will do is create and maintain fan interest and provide "hope." The bowl games are almost comatose and aren't coming back. And yet, "hope springs forth eternal."
Fans want to be fanatical about their chances of getting in, that's all. A few upsets here and there and interest will get even higher.

I do agree wiht you on the "hope" factor but I mean let's be real here, bama vs. a 12th ranked iowa or north Carolina or something is gonna be a blood bath. Those first few rounds will basically just be tune up exhibitions until you're left wiht the same core group we always have.

You have to be pretty out of touch to think that there's any chance Kirby (if the's who you're referring to as Mr. Bowl Cut) heads to Alabama in a year. But you seem pretty out of touch, and that's putting it mildly.

Auburn isn’t even ranked in the preseason Top 25. They are like a little kid with their nose pressed to the candy store window. Who knows? If they can keep from imploding with another Clesi like scandal they might qualify for some minor bowl. But that is far from guaranteed. I personally doubt that they can do either
