I didn't frequent the board back when A&M joined the SEC. Was there talk of not allowing them on the site? It would be hard to regulate like all the alters out there, but I have to think some people were smart enough to know how bad they would be at the internet based on how they are in real life, and there would be a case to just not let them in.

A disaster, but as it relates to recruiting, it's always the following class, not the same class, where you see a recruiting bump.
Georgia will see the benefits of this NC in the 2023 class.

Disallowing them would be an aggy move. I think this site would be much better without them, but if they want to embarrass themselves here on a daily basis, so be it. Their delusion doesn’t erase the fact that they went 8-4 and haven’t been on a field since a 27-24 loss to a losing team.

I'm just glad Bama did things the right way. According to the GOAT coach, Bama has never paid any recruits. A&M meanwhile is cheating their way to a championship. Would be an epic fail if they don't win a championship with this class they just pulled in.

We have no idea at this time what different schools are doing, A&M may have gotten their act together sooner than others as in the case of LSU they were hiring a new coach and between coaches and pulled on #12 class this year which is remarkable for circumstances.
There are things that make some states more attractive than others with taxes, Texas has no state income tax.
I agree with you and the critics that are saying A&M only pulled this off because of NIL are crying over spilled milk. NIL is legal and IF [big if] the Aggies did pull this off because of NIL then great job.
Bama has been pulling off #1 classes for a decade.
