if he aint I am. The main reason why any coach should be able to do well at LSU. Lots of talent and no one to bother you over it.

Davis is solid but thats it. Sentimore, I dont remember which class he was in so I dont want to short change him, but I think he has been in the program for a couple of yrs so, so far no huge loss for LSU.

Sentimore has a solid chance at being a starter next year.

Given his production at USC, I don't think we really missed out.

I wouldnt be concerned if I was bama.

Def some idiots in this thread.

The classes have been pretty much even and the record since saban has been there is 2-2. That is pretty telling on how even they have been.

At LSU from 05-10 51% of the players that signed a LOI were from out of state. Most years LSU has to rely on going out of state to get guys. Not always easy to fill your needs. We went oos for a lb and QB. Both positions of need. Yes this year we were loaded, but most of the time you cant field a complete team with the talent in LA alone and expect to even compete in the west. Not to mention USC, OU, UT, Bama, Auburn, UTenn, UF, FSU, and UGA are all teams trying to pick off the top players in our state.

Believe me Bama has nothing to worry about....I just believe we have a class that is just as special as theirs without a doubt. We have had to rely out of state for sure in the past years, but Wilson seems to have a knack for finding some hidden LA talent. We will continue to go out of state, but I expect to see a few more instate guys coming on in the future

LSU has no in-state competition for in-state players.

How these classes pan out in the future has nothing to with where they're from.

congrats on a great class. i believe the best in the country. I think tigers fans are trying to make the point that if you go outside too much you will let other schools develop relationships. Not so much in louisiana because we have no competion. But now in alabama, auburn is back in the picture so i would be thinking about that aspect as well. With auburn coming on i wouldnt' close many doors in my home state. Everyone knows in the long haul your home state is the bulk of your recruits and the players that help you win championships.
