re: How deep is your secondary?

not quite as deep as the pile of crap the sweater vest dove into but pretty deep.

Yes, you are screwed, thanks for asking.

No thanks.

The Good Wife!

So I got home today in time for the anniversary thing, flowers and gift in tow.

My wife has three gifts on the table - 1st package is an authentic (came with an AD Department signed certificate) LSU helmet signed by the Mad Hatter and I'm like ok this is awesome.

2nd package is an eye of the tiger football signed (authenticated) by the entire (current) coaching staff!

I'm like holy crap, there is a third box - she couldn't have possibly topped this???

Box 3 = #18 Jersey, signed by "2007 National Champion" - Jacob Hester

I love my wife!

And to think; I didn't love the Tigers any less the next day.

The reason some of us more aged LSU fans get frustrated with the current wave of "anything less than perfection is unacceptable" crowd is because we cheered the Tigers on days like this all too often and it only made us HATE the old classless whining visor, not those that fought for us.

For example: Curley Hallman might have been the least successful head coach in school history but he was still one of us. No need to talk about defecating on him and such.

Being the worst coach in LSU history is still a greater achievement than most of us will ever accomplish because it means he was AN LSU HEAD COACH!

I never want to relive those days but you bleed purple in gold thru thick and thin or you don't bleed purple and gold at all.

Thanks Curley for teaching me how to endure hard times and for how to appreciate the view from the top once we got there.

Oh, and Thanks to the three guys that followed him for getting us back to the top and keeping us there.

Geaux Tigers!

Rick Harrison would laugh in that guys face.......then offer him $5.

No Rick appreciates historical value and often over pays for it.

He would pay $50, I'm sure of it.

$50,000.00 really? That guy is not too bright.

The Panthers will not take Cam Newton and Patrick Peterson is not falling to 5th.

I'm not sure if the Panthers will pull the trigger on PP7 (I know they should) or try to trade down which will be difficult in the current situation but this fan base (what's left of it) will melt down if they use yet another QB pick on an NFL project that is considered a hugh risk.

also baseball has followed up its nc with a historic collapse last year

Just to clarify, Winning the SEC Tourney is now deemed a collapse? Historic no less!

Get a grip people.

Hester "um, coach, aren't you the one that eats grass?"

Les Miles "Yes but trust me, their gonna know what it taste like when you keep running them into the ground now go get us four more downs!

Hester "YES SIR COACH!!"

Referee "First Down!"

I have been seeing many people dawg him on here.

It might be your source is not so reliable.

Remember, Les Miles sux, will be fired and/or leave for Michigan and LSU will NEVER beat Florida or Bama again as long as we have the Hat -Rant September 2010
1st - What is wrong with being an LSU Homer on an LSU message board, just curious?

Second referring to the SVP/LM segments as a debacle is beyond not being a homer; it is being ridiculous and misleading.

Not trying to pick a fight but the anything LM 'debacle' mantra has long played out.

Thought this well before the SVP/LM debacle.

What the fraction are you talking about?

The SVP/LM segments where CLASSIC and SVP shows LM MEGA respect.

Dude, you know the Rant rules.

If you can't link a video, it didn't happen.

If someone said something good about Les, it didn't happen.

If you don't hate Les for firing our undefeated, unchallenged and infallible deity of coaching then YOU SUCK!

J/K - Sounds about right for anyone that has actually met the man.

I remember a bunch of TVs plus maybe one big screen

I remember that they had a lot of TVs including one in the kitchen. I thought that wa crazy but cool.

I also thought they had a big TV but big back then was probably like a 36" or something!

I also remember the Comite/Amite river (the great wilderness of my youth) being a big raging river but then I crossed over the bridge from DS the last time I was in town and was a little creek so....

I watched that game at the Prince Murat on Nicholson Drive, early pay for view.

I did too! (I was 12)

My Mother was the banquet manager and used to bring me in on game days; it was like an LSU tailgate...

I rode past there couple of years ago, what a dump it became!

My personal take is that Toliver was probably frustrated with JJ these past two seasons and it colors his perception of Mettenberger. If I'm right, I both think Toliver has a point and yet ought to have been more focused at making lemonade out of the JJ lemon and not let those limitations influence his play (i.e., drops).

Best point in this thread.
I'd be an impartial judge - IF the guy is found guilty I'd fine him harshly and require full restitution which could be in the 100s of thousands and require him to do a day of jail time for every $100 he couldn't pay.

I'd also ban him from ANY college campus or sporting event for life with a suspended sentence of 1 year in jail so that if he was ever caught on a college campus or college sporting venue he'd automatically have to serve the year.

I will feel the same way when the barns retaliate and blow up bear's statue or something.

Of course the penalty will be more severe when explosives are involved...

If you are trying to make a connection to the SCam then your math is off, otherwise you're just not funny...

While I don't agree with the tone of his post I don't blame anyone for not wanting to see this team.

Yea, but to say I wouldn't go watch em for free just doesn't sound like fandom to me.

Frankly I am proud of the fact that I was just a much an Atlanta Braves fan in the 80's as I was in the 90s, I never wore a bag on my head to love the Saints and I have bled Purple and Gold everyday of my life, no matter what the record of whichever sport happens to be playing that day.

Show some love, support your team thick or thin - bottom line!
