Herschel Wlaker is the mother trucking MAN, buddy!!!! Only thou will the biggest nuts can say that his college team never lost an SEC conference game when he played there. EVER!!!

1977-1979 -- 9-5-1

1980-1982 -- 18-0

1983-1985 -- 12-5-1

All enthusiasm aside, I dare any of you dorks to offer a convincing rebuttal!!!

Herschel Walker isn't even the greatest CFB running back ever, much less overall player.

I’d put Ricky Williams ahead of Walker and I don’t even have a live knowledge of either (was born in ‘99 so didn’t get to see Ricky play in action while he was in college)

Never been on the fence about it. There's no doubt that he, nor any of his additional personalities, are tGOAT.

UGA’s schedule in the Herschel years makes this year’s UGA schedule look like the NFL

You're kidding, right? Their 1980 OOC schedule:
A&M, Climpson, TCU, SCar, Tech

Bowl game: Notre Dame

I have recency bias, but I think Tebow is the best SEC player of all time by career, and Cam Newton has the best single season for any player all time in CFB.

Using the same metric...

AU 2008-09 = 13-12
AU 2010 = 14-0
AU 2011-12 = 11-14

Cam Newton = GOAT
