Being a cop really hads nothing to do with anything else you said. Who cares?
And I didn't read anyone excusing this kids behavior. I read people posting that he was young in response to a couple of idiots that said he was getting what he deserved. And what do you consider "aberrant" (not sure if you meant aberrant or abhorrent) behavior?

I have a disease. I get a headache when I don't drink coffee in the morning. It's a horrible disease I'm suffering from.

Sure it is. Or do you reject science?

I'm just glad a cop has a rational view on marijuana, even if he's in South Florida. Nola cops were pretty rational too about it. Small town cops unfortunately are still stuck in a Mayberry mindset.

Heck, if the cure for your disease is coffee, maybe insurance ought to be paying for your Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts or Maxwell House or whatever.

Ole Miss campus rumors are what had people calling a fire drill at midnight of the 2012 election a race riot because Obama won. Ole Miss students and the student media department are beyond retarded. Never believe anything you hear on campus

I've never liked the term disease. I've smoked for most of 17 years, and have dropped it without any problems, except I get to see how bad this Irish temper really becomes.
I see addiction as someone will to mug someone with a pistol, or sucking a dick to get their fix. No straight man ever sucked a dick for a dime bag.

My 6 year old nephew is addicted to attention, and throws fits when he doesn't get his way. He has a disease. We are starting a go fund me account, and have sued the insurance company to provide him with acting parts on tv and movies.

Does that include the terminal lung cancer patient who smoked cigarettes?

Sounds like I'm gonna have to kick Bob Weir's arse.

There are levels of disease. And there is science to back it up. The brain becomes wired wrong from it and some people are far more likely from genetics to become addicts.

Disease: lung cancer
The addiction possibly led to the disease, or aggravated it. But the actual smoking of the cigarette was not and is not a disease.

Ole Miss' Robert Nkemdiche is finally having the type of season people expected of a former No. 1 recruit in the country, but he's not chalking it up to weight room exploits or a better understanding of football.
He instead attributes his personal success to Zen, centering himself and music from groups like The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd.

And there is science that backs up that it IS NOT a disease. You can find tons of articles on that as well. I've looked at both, applied common sense, and refuse to equate my needing caffeine in the morning with ALS. But hey, maybe I'm the crazy one here.

Hope he survives. People need to back the frick off blasting a kid for doing what most of us did at that age. Prayers for him and his family

Actually I haven't smoked pot or drank in years. Sorry you hate kids and hate changing their bed pans while they are hospitalized.

You shouldn't. There are diseases that do basically no harm to people as well. Those aren't equatable with ALS either.

Why are you so dramatic?
No one called you crazy.
