Why is LSU not doing the right thing and paying the buyout he is contractually obligated to if he leaves?

He signed a rev share agreement. Buyout is $300,000. Revenue Share agreements are different than NIL. LSU is going to pay him $1 million and have to pay Ole Miss $300,000 for breaking his rev sha

You can let him in the portal and still sue to enforce the contract damages

Young man wants to further his education at a better school. Would be awful if Ole Miss prevented his transfer.

Perhaps the dumbest analogy I’ve seen in a very long time.

Do LSU fans really think contracts only bind one party but not the other

Coaches have buyout clauses.

Sign a contract on your house and then tell them you don't want to sell it anymore.

I can see having a contract for money, years and performance based... but not allowing portal entry, ooofffffff.

We've already seen this scenario play out with Wisconsin and Miami last year.

He can simply unenroll from Ole Massa, enroll at LSU, and walk on. They can't keep him on the plantation.

Yeah and they have buyouts and other language concerning what takes place if they choose to break the contract. These are called exit clauses. I am sure the language in Princewill’s contract is clear and he understood all the terms.

It would have to be a pretty shitty person to advise him he could simply break the terms of contract and everyone would ease his path on the way out

If you sign a contract people expect you to keep it, thus the entire point of a contract.
