Putting aside what we usually do on this board.

Can we discuss how absolutely fricking nuts the game is going to be? Tickets are starting at $600 damn near right now.

Think of all the damn good games over the years. Prime time fricking television right here.

Supply and demand

Minimal supply of course

Maybe they’ll set up big screens out in the grove and have an adjacent watch party

Big show coming to town in a stadium that only holds 50,000 people. Of course tickets will be high

Oxford should be rocking!

I'm glad I'll be watching from the comfort of my own home - not dealing with the grove, drunk college kids (who are sure to be overly rambunctious for this game), and potentially being embarrassed if people throw shite at lane.

This will be one for the ages

It’s gonna be an ugly scene I fear. Having tens of thousands of pissed off ex-wives in the stands is what it will be like.

99% of people will just be there for the football and want to enjoy the day. Nice LSU fans will be treated with kindness.

On the other hand, there's going to be that 1% on each side that plan to be idiots.

Most fans that I have met of every team in the conference are decent people.

Why did you use such an old picture? Our stadium hasn't looked like that since 2014.

Honestly, every time I've been to the Grove its been a good time and the Ole Miss fans were polite. the truth be known I have a few family members who are Ole Miss alum.

Now the last game I was at we were seated next to the Ole Miss student section and some of them were mouthy pricks who must have been just having their first beer.

But in general its normally a good time.

I have no hate for Ole Miss but I am intrigued by the idea of this historical rivalry getting revved up again. Hopefully Ole Miss doesn't let us down and start sucking again because I'd enjoy a good rivalry where neither side knows what's going to happen.

Here's to all the Black Bears here and many good future games between the two programs

No one cares if you take Ole Miss seriously. As a matter of fact, don’t.

Correct. We're all just enjoying football season and want our team to win. There's no reason opposing fans can't coexist on game day.

This. As an LSU fan, i’ve had great experiences at every visiting stadium in the conference. Met many opposing fans who are fun people.

The 1% that go looking for trouble will certainly find it and grab the headlines.
