I dont think he'd start even half of your games. Looks like Schafer part 2 IMO FWIW

If I was a Rebs fan I'd want to take my lumps with Stanley/Mackey in 2010 when I have a real strong defense rather than have Masoli come in and slow things down. Stanley won't have Powe/Lockett/Cornell, etc. to lean on in the coming years.

I agree. If we take Masoli the pressure to put him in will be ridiculous

Is he a "thug"? Not in my opinion, but I realize my opinion will be written off as biased.

I remember reading about the theft. Masoli and his buddy had been at this frat house prior for a frat party. This kid comes home to the frat house one day and sees Masoli and his buddy (another player) walking out of the house with his stuff and someone else's stuff from what I remember. Sounds like a thug to me.

For realz? Who cares if he's got a troubled past. No Ole Miss fans will give a shite next season if he plays well.

I think it's a lot more pressure on Stanley this year. I mean we're coming off of back to back NYD bowl seasons, have an inexperience line and receivers. That's a lot for a sophomore who had thought all last season that Snead was going to be incharge this year.

Nate will still get enough snaps to make a nice progression this year, plus he's trained to be the starter for six months. I think he'd much rather him come off a rebuilding year with everybody back on offense then jump in this year.

Plus he'll still have a defense next year. Yea our dline won't be as good but it'll still be pretty salty, plus our lb and secondary will be improved. That an everyone back from special teams makes sure Stanley isn't throw intoore than he can handle

dog you REALLY need to come down off your high horse
Y'all would be foaming at the mouth if the situation were reversed. To say otherwise is not being truthful and you know it.

And before any state poster replys to toddy, yes you turned down masoli and so did we when we had 3 qb's, and who knows if y'all wouldn't gone after him with two qb's or not, but it's a fact that you were dying to have cam newton who did the exact same thing as masoli

LSU only has 2 QBs that are definitely going to be here in the fall. How come we didn't offer him?
