One thing i love about LSU/OLE Miss games is that you can expect some nail-biters.
One year I went with friends and I think LSU was at least a 2 touchdown favorite. It was a dog fight until the end when LSU took the lead and won with less than a minute left.
It was at LSU and the home crowd was insane those last few minutes.

I don’t see LSU winning. Defense is bad. Offense is ok but won’t be able to match scores.

We were up by two scores with like 5 minutes left and lost. That was when I started hating Orgeron because Schaefer was doing an amazing job and the in their infinite wisdom, Orgeron and his staff decided to pull him and stick Seth Adams in the game.

I’m going back and looking at the stat lines for that 2006 game and how the frick were we in a position to win? We had 195 yards of total offense and had 2 turnovers. LSU had over 300 yards of offense with 0 turnovers. And LSU win 23-20 in OT
