Real interesting match up IMO. How do Ole Miss fans feel about the game and how do people think it will go?

I don't think Kelly has to win the game outright for Ole Miss to win, but he can't lose the game via turnovers. They look pretty evenly matched to me.

Thoughts? matchups to watch? Thanks.

Both are really talented but not completely confident at every position. I want to see

1. Can OM's offensive line protect Kelly long enough to make plays
2. How does FSU's quarterback end up playing

It should be a lot fun and honestly I think it is too close to call.

Going to come down to Ole Miss's D versus Dalvin Cook. Can they contain him? If he gets 150+ yards, we're in trouble.

Ole Miss was the #10 offense versus ranked opponents last year and FSU was the #9 defense versus ranked opponents. That matchup will be worth watching as well.

I mean if Ole Miss is holding their own against Alabama's rushing attack I don't think they are going to lose their marbles against FSU. That being said, he is good so I wouldn't expect a complete shutdown. Don't see him going off for 150 yards. Maybe 100.

What makes this game so intriguing is there are many knowns and unknowns between two talented teams. Cook is a known, Kelly is a known. But you will have 30 different responses in this thread on what matchups to watch in the game.

This is probably the most anticipated and visible game in the modern era for Ole Miss. No hyperbole.

Look for Florida State to win big and Ole Miss get the death penalty.

Seems pretty simple to me.
FSU is an elite team that is opening the season against an SEC 2nd tier opponent. FSU has one of the best players in college football running the ball for them. FSU will not lose the game. FSU's defense will play to keep everything in front of them, and make sure that Kelly isn't able to break containment for long runs, and on offense they will just run the ball down Ole Miss's throat.

Ole Miss may keep it somewhat respectible, but I see FSU winning convincingly.

What does that make Arkansas? Third tier? How many years in a row has Ole Miss finished ahead of you in the West?

Maybe 4 out of 25 seasons?
c'mon, that was a softball toss.

If ole miss Oline does well, ole miss wins. I expect Kelly to make a few plays with his feet though.

Head to head in the last two years I thought we were 2-0 against Ole Piss, maybe I'm wrong. Also the all time record is Arkansas leads, 34–27–1.

Maybe you had better reconsider where you actually stand before you start running your mouth. Jus sayin

I get the feeling FSU is going to manhandle Ole Miss. I don't really care who wins either way but that's just my take on it.

I am just worried if the O line doesn't hold up our defense could be out there for longer than it needs to.

I honestly think it will hold up but I am trying to be objective.
