Wait I just realized FSU's returning QB threw 4 picks against Houston to end last season. Sounds like LSU 2.0 just key on the RB and force the QB to beat you. He will probably make some plays but not enough to out duel Kelly. Rebs finna do work son.

It's as if OM fans just forget they just lost 3 first rounders and return less starters than anyone in the SEC. Go on and think you will have no trouble with Dalvin Cook b/c you "somewhat" contained LF last year. You aren't fielding the same D guys...did this just slip your mind or something?

Not really. Do you know what "running in down your throat" even means?

You had 150 yards rushing and 81 of that was from your QB. Your RBs rushed 18 times for 77 yards.

ETA:

Alabama ran it down our throat last year. We got beaten badly by you because Brandon Harris had a 33.1 QBR.

I'm back and forth on what I think about this game but I just don;t have enough confidence in the Ole Miss running game/ O-Line to believe they pull it out.

I think Ole Miss can play with FSU on defense and if they put alot of pressure on FSU's QB it could override anything else that happens in the game. Ole Miss has to hope for short fields to score points. Like I said though it all comes down to the Ole Miss running game IMO. I think they are too young to be effective enough to win it.

Based on the pathetic offenses Freeze has put together this must be true.

Yes and no. We took comparable hits from 2 seasons ago going into this past season. We lost Cody Prewitt (one of country's best Safetys), Serderius Bryant (dominant LB before his concussion), Isaac Gross, Keith Lewis, Denzel Nkemdiche's impact play (dropped off significantly as if we lost a player), and Senquez Golson (MLB option player), all defensive players. 2 of our 3 first rounders in this year's draft were offensive, and Robert wasn't giving it his all last year. Speaks stepped up as a true freshman during his absence and made a name for himself. We'll be fine

I'm pretty sure Sean Maguire is back. He started their last 6 games last year.

From the looks of things, Florida State has every starter back except for one DT, one LB, one CB their punter and their kicker.

Florida State returning starters 2016

Compare that with what Ole Miss has coming back:

Last year you guys had a solid offense but your 2014 offense was not terrific by any means and you guys have struggled to find a running back that can carry the load.

The correct answer is,
In the end OM will have pissed down their leg and FSU wins the game in a cakewalk.

He is back and he's an average QB, at best. FSU's O is all Dalvin Cook.

By solid I assume you mean outstanding. And the not terrific 2014 offense averaged about 28 points a game. It was a roller coaster no doubt but with Bo Wallace at QB I would say Freeze did pretty freaking amazing.

It sounds like you aren't aware about Us using our qbs extensively in our run game. Kelly was our 2nd highest rusher from last season.

It doesn't matter who is running the ball. Rushing yards are still rushing yards.

Just depends if Ole Miss can stop the best running back in the country Dalvin Cook. FSU has SEC West caliber talent and depth.

Ole miss should be as well prepared as anyone

Ole miss played 2 teams last year with arguably the best back in the country to go along with SEC West caliber talent.

They went 2-0

OM has as much talent across the board in the 2 deep as it has had under Freeze. If whoever plays LT can not completely fold, the Oline should be as good as Freeze has had. If Little (assuming he is day 1 starter) can hold his own, our offense will be as good as anyone in the country.

Our D line is incredibly deep. Haynes is a pass rush specialist that will get his. If we get anything from the 2 safety spots, the SEC needs to be on notice.

If we are 3-1 after the first 4 then we have a REAL chance at this thing.

I mean with Sean Mcquire as QB and Clemson being stacked I dunno about this. I can see FSU losing to Clemson, Ole Miss, and maybe Florida.

Ole Miss can win it will be a close game.
