The plaintiff and Everett decided to leave the house when, according to the complaint, without any provocation Denzel punched the plaintiff in the back of the head, immediately knocking him out.

Not content with the knockout blow Robert Nkemdiche and five other football players, unidentified but sued as John Does in the lawsuit, then are accused of kicking and stomping the plaintiff as he was passed out on the ground. Everett, the plaintiff's friend, dove on the ground and covered the unconscious plaintiff, leading to his also being beaten. According to the complaint, Everett was beaten so severely that his eardrum was busted and his middle ear was severely injured.

Oh, I understand. From my perspective ff money changes hands, zero fricks given. $2M is laughable tho.

I think I'll let the courts make that determination.

So basically, police went to go question the kid after this party, he was being a drunken idiot, and they didn't want to charge him with a serious crime so he wouldn't get kicked off the team (but at the same time arrest him to cover their arse for future reasons).

Wouldn't be surprised to see it settle for a 1 series suspension.

State's shite Greek system would probably find a way to kick KA off campus for this.

This suit was a year ago. So the same cops that bust him on a drunk and disorderly cover up for an assault? Sound logic

I believe they are unrelated incidents. This happened when RN was still a recruit and the recent arrest was this past Saturday as I understood it. The plaintiff could have very well waited for a slip up to push his case though, an arrest at a later date definitely doesn't hurt his claim.

I'll say this. The two brothers need to settle down with whatever they're doing because there seems to always be rumors or some shite about them screwing up. It's irritating.

Word within the Greek community is that a fight took place and the Nkemdiches were involved. Just because there wasn't any evidence of it, doesn't mean it didn't happen. The Nkemdiche brothers, from what I've heard, are not popular amongst the Greeks because they're constantly starting shite at their parties.

Yeah, I think you missed the part where it said the incidents were a year difference in time.

I can't wait till people realize that filing suit=\=anything legitimate. You could file suit for someone wearing the wrong size pants and find an attorney to file. Doesn't mean a judge will give you the time of day.

This is garbage, much like the OP.

Unfortunately, I've heard the same.
