Very surprised Glasscock and some of the numbers people approved of this. Princewill is a good pass rusher but is terrible against the run and he's not a double team kinda guy. He had a great 2nd half of the year but was non-existent a lot of games. Definitely a valuable piece to have but this isn't a situation where ole miss was willing to match and he just wants to go to lsu. Ole miss placed a certain valuation on him and LSU is willing to go $1M over that valuation when you include the buyout. That just doesn't seem smart. I'd bet this was more Lane being mad he didn't get any of the other big name players and nobody really cared about Dottery so he wanted to make a big splash with regards to stealing an ole miss player. May work out but think this was more of an emotional decision than one based on actual value.

I really don't think you could find an ole miss fan that would say let's up our offer to princewill by $600K+, even with the Kane factor involved and wanting to keep our players from him. Trinidad, lacy, kutas, Perkins and Echols, maybe, but even still I think there's a certain number where you say that's just stupid. Think Walter nolen got paid around $1M and he was a game changer, love what princewill did but he's not that.

It’s not your money why exactly does it matter? Unless you feel like that will go to grabbing another player that’s better that’s cool that’s your opinion. But not sure why an additional 600k should make or break you. If it was coming from my bank account it’d be a different story lol.

TM Rebel you people are delusional if you think Pete will keep this going. You lost your offensive staff, it's gone. Pete's not good at defense and certainly know little about offense. You'll have a new OC with a new offense.
