In two years we could realistically be in the race for the West like it's 2015 all over again.
Yeah, because Ole Miss can easily get back into the swing of winning the SEC West like they did in...wait, I seem to be drawing a blank. When did Ole Miss ever win the SEC West again???

You mean when this class begins to hit its stride??

Let's not forget that their current coach is now going before the committee of infractions as well and may also get a show-cause along with freeze...
That's awkward.

3 years bowl ban
45 scholarships over 5 years.

I like Ole Miss, and I will always give credit to anyone who takes a negative about their program and turn into a troll of other programs -- that's pretty much how Vandy fans have had to survive over the last century -- but you really should have anticipated the replies you got. OM is gonna be screwed something awful well beyond any probation period. If the NCAA could turn Bama into a basement dweller for a half-decade, OM isn't going to do any better.

The entire SEC is in a state of mediocrity. It's literally Alabama and then everyone else.
Stupid...
In NCAA football right now it's Alabama and everybody else without Watson suiting up for Clemson. When you say mediocrity you imply the SEC is average.
The west alone could have up to 3 elite teams this year, as in as good as you'll find in the country. Let Auburn play Clemson and see What Canada at LSU does against a good defense before you claim the SEC is mediocre.
Also what has UGA done to show they can't match up well with 99% of teams in FBS?
Who do you think is clearly better than LSU/AU at the moment?
#2 Ohio State?
- Tied at half with Indiana
#3 Clemson?
- Solid team, we'll find out this week
#4 Penn State?
- Who knows, doubt Vegas would favor them
#5 Oklahoma?
- Solid team
#6 USC?
- LOL
#7 Washington?
- Not likely
#8 Michigan?
- Solid team
#9 Wisconsin?
- Not likely
#10 FSU?
- Similar team, but now without starting QB
#11 Ok St?
- Not likely
All those teams on a neutral field Vegas likely only favors 4: OSU, Clemson, Michigan, OU. The rest are likely getting points vs LSU and Auburn.

I, unlike others, see the wisdom in your post. If Ole Miss didn't go on probation now, they would be at risk of winning their division and going to Atlanta. That would be like opening Pandora's Box. Who knows what kind of consequences their could be.

It's never a good time to be humiliated and outed as a cheater. You probably won't understand this, but most good college athletes got that way by working hard and discipline. Those kind of young men and women aren't interested in going to a school that feels like it has to cheat to win. They would rather go somewhere like Mississippi State where they are developed by hard work and dedication to the process.

So, Ole Miss is going to go to a level below less than relevant and return to less than relevant after probation?

Why no congratulations on our Egg Bowl victory blow out?

And it's literally been that way for decades. Same as Kentucky in basketball. Not sure what your point is.

Interesting troll. We know you're not this foolish so it's got to be a troll. I guess if you factor in the 4 years to rebuild after. You should be looking at a different SEC in 6-10 years
