Ahhh c'mon man. LSU isn't that shitty of an athletic program. Sweeping you guys is an average level for a bar

Sweeping LSU in baseball isn’t a big deal as it once was. Matter of fact LSU being swept is becoming a regular occurrence now days. Just look what the Vols done to them last year and there HOF coach.

Tennessee went 5-0 against them last year just in baseball.

Well the Vols did make it further than y’all did last year. Y’all was watching the Vols play on the last day in Hoover and watching them in Omaha as well. Have fun loser not getting back there till you get rid of Jay Johnson.

Bruh, it was only his first season

Sure is. West Coast baseball don’t work in the SEC. Just look at Dave Saranno. Great coach out west, then moves to the SEC and was not good at all. Some things can be fixed over time, but you can’t sit there woht a straight face and tell me pulling y’all’s pitcher after 1 pitch wasn’t an head scratcher lol.

Okay? What does that have to do with anything being discussed?

One good year congrats but you don’t own anyone. You’re Ole Miss. You’ll never own LSU in anything we’re a powerhouse and you’re a fly on the wall

Jay Johnson doesn't play west coast baseball. LSU never steals, never puts runners in motion, rarely bunts, etc. They play less west coast brand of baseball than Tennessee does. He didn't coach like that at Arizona either. He coaches more like coaches from the southeast than Mainieri ever did TBH

Serrano didn’t play west coast baseball either when he got to Tennessee. He was simply a west coast guy that could deal with the constant rigors of playing the best every weekend. Jay Johnson will find out soon enough that his Arizona ways will not work in the SEC consistently.

Neither did LSU. But we gave ourself a chance. LSU had 0% chance in Omaha last year. Gotta give yourself a chance to start.

Yikes. You love to see it.
Dont you love it when your school is in a transition year and the little guys get so excited about beating you.
Must be sad getting so excited about having 2021-22 being the first time you've ever won 10 games in the regular season and first time you've ever swept LSU in Baton Rouge. Congrats on the good year, enjoy the brief year of victory!

You serious? Serrano very much played a west coast brand of baseball when he got to Tennessee. You know who else did for years as well? Tim Corbin
This is just such a silly argument. Dave Serrano falling on his face at Tennessee after having success at Irvine and Fullerton is one guy who has no bearing on how successful or unsuccessful Johnson will inevitably be. That would be like me saying because Augie Garrido won national titles on the west coast and in Texas means that Jay will be successful too.
Serrano failed because he couldn't get good players to campus. Johnson has been doing just fine in that regard and has an excellent class lined up for next season as well.
