Relegated to the SEC network? That's complete BS by the SEC.

No. 13 #Mizzou and No. 9 Ole Miss have the right to feel snubbed that they'll be playing on SEC Network on Saturday.

Since the SEC on ABC deal began in 2024, there have been 12 reg season SEC-SEC games b/t teams ranked inside the top 13. All have been on ABC — until this one.

Well the SEC is loaded with quality games every weekend.

Meanwhile the B1G cant give us one decent contest a week.

Don’t care if we play it on Jefferson Pilot and have to go dig up one of the Daves just to call the game. Just win baby.

Rebs, how do you think we match up against you? Only game I’ve watched in full was your game against LSU. Going to be hard to steal a win against a legit top 10 team on the road.

I expect Austin Simmons and Cayden Lee to have career games.

DSOR and TSIO are both that same weekend. Interesting that ESPN put our game and those two all at same time.

Night game schedule is pretty weak as well.

The 11am games are better than the 6pm games.

Im sure Simmons and Lee are itching to put on a show verses our defense in their return to Ole Miss.

It will be another tough game.

Im glad we are playing at home.

Can we please bring back Jefferson Pilot, if not for our kids sake??

This is Disney's fault. They get to put one Notre Dame game of their choice on ESPN. They chose this week's #3 ND vs. #8 BYU. It's pretty much the only option since ND plays 11 high school teams this season.

The consequence? The SEC does not have an evening ESPN slot that they normally would. So the SEC has to put all three monster games against each other early in the day and doesn't have enough primetime slots to match its incredible line-up of games.

This is where Sankey really screwed the pooch. The SEC must do better in its next round of network negotiations. And frankly, I think it's time to consider eating the cost of building its own streaming/app platform as a tier one option, but that's for another very lengthy post (rant).
