Ole Miss may not go to a bowl but will be in the SEC Championship Game

I think we run the table on the West this season. Our offense is so good, we don't need a defense. Ole Miss will play in Atlanta. Will this be the best team to win the conference but not be eligible for a bowl?

Gonna have to figure out a way to finally beat Arkansas.

Well, you are not eligible to win the division or SEC. Not that Mississippi is going 8-0 in conference anyway.

Yeah that's gotten us so far these past two years. Last decent defense we had was the Sugar Bowl year.

Based on your rules of eligibility to play in the SECCG (which you can't), 1993 Auburn would still hold that title....

Is this true? The NCAA penalty says that we are just banned from a bowl. There were no SEC penalties levied.

Lol. I almost wish this would happen. OM goes 11-1 with the best conference record in the West. Thing is, cupcake, you still can’t play in the SECCG! Not allowed cuz you cheated! But I’d love to hear the OM fans bitch constantly about how this would be “UNPRECEDENTED!” Which of course it wouldn’t. But that’s been their narrative. “The NCAA has given “Unprecedented!” Immunity!!
Which is not true. Happened before, will happen again. And... “the NCAA has given “unprecedented!” Sanctions of limited unofficial visits! Which is also nowhere near true. It’s one of the most common punishments handed down. And...the NCAA has allowed “unprecedented!” Transfers to occur vs OM! Nope wrong again.
