Yeah. Give the kid another season. Let him continue living his dream and starting at QB for an SEC team while making millions of dollars. Get off your soapbox.

I get Trinidad trying to get another year, I get Ole Miss hoping he gets it.

But we should all be able to agree that a sore throat is a pretty shitty argument to receive a medical redshirt and that this case is terrible and wouldn't have a shot on a level playing field.

OM doctor: If he came to me I would have told him not to exercise for 2 weeks

NCAA lawyer: 2 weeks? Do you know how long football season is?

OM doctor:…all fall I guess

Yikes. This dude is getting shredded. If this was presided over by anyone but an OM fanboy judge it would be over.

Yeah, the lawyer tore him up pretty good. They also admitted Chambliss played on the scout team and didn't seem to be limited in football activities.

This is a complete farce. Terrible look for the judicial system and Mississippi. Live streaming a hearing to decide an OM players eligibility presided over by an OM judge with testimony from an OM doctor with zero interaction with Trinidad when he was “incapacitated”. Complete circus. OM has no shame and would be losing their mind if this was State or LSU doing this. Complete hypocrisy.

Is his treating physician from Ferris St even testifying at this hearing?

Probably not but no worries! We have our next VERY unbiased witness…an Ole Miss coach.

Ole Miss judge will give Chambliss his injunction from today's hearing

Considering the mass frickery that everyone turns their heads away from and condones, I say good for Chambliss.

Ole Miss judge should just go ahead and sign off on it before the hearing even starts.

NCAA will fight it the rest of the year and try and get it overturned right before first game next season.

You know as well as I that this is going to go like Pavia and he's playing in 2026 under a TRO with the case somehow unable to have its time in court until mid January 2027 at the earliest.

This isn't taking talent out of the billionaire sports franchise's coffers so there won't be a political exigency to have this dealt with ASAP like Bediako.

Joe Judge now on the stand:
"But your honor, we really need him this year"

Ole Miss Judge:
"Good enough for me. Approved"

Men in their mid-20s that should get a job will be able to play for as long as a canard can be constructed to play out a court case far enough along to get them temporarily eligible long enough for whatever it matters. I suspect most of these cases will have the plaintiffs most likely seek to dismiss to never establish precedent one way or another after the season.

The same benefit will be extended to professionals from Europe because that is robbing talent from some other country's rich frickers.

This will not be extended to any developmental pro league attached to a big 3 sport league or talent from a big 3 itself because all those are tied to proximate rich frickers and there is an interest in protecting them from having colleges poaching their back bench and depth.

I don't see how they have a leg to stand on

This should just end with the NCAA saying everyone gets 5 years of elgibility and that's it. No redshirts, etc... everyone gets 5 years and you can not play collegiately if you are 24 years old or older.

Ole Miss Coach Joe Judge on stand:
"Since these players need continual development before the NFL, just go ahead and stamp the form for Chambliss to stay at Ole Miss for 10 years."

The terrible look is a bunch of LSU and MSU posters watching the live stream with their fingers and toes crossed while hanging on every word and making threads about it. I would not watch if this was your QB's hearing and the vast majority of other OM posters would not. It's Trinidad and I'm not even watching. You can type that out to feel better about yourself though.
