On a scale of 1 - your mascot bringing a Troy outfit to an away game.

I think that it will actually be a good game. Look we won against a bad Vanderbilt team, gave up 35 points to them, cb's still don't turn around and get flagged for PI's all the time. We have a lot of problems lining up in the neutral zone, false starts, etc. Run defense is suspect.

On the other hand Patterson is getting better each game, checking down to RB"s and tight ends, going through his progressions even faster, running back is playing hard and the receivers are all healthy with AJ Brown back.

The D is getting pressure lately though, second half of Auburn and Vanderbilt reminded me of the old landshark D. Haynes is coming on strong right now and I think we had 7 or 8 sacks against vandy and probably like 8 other huge hits where I was getting seriously worried about the QB for Vandy.

Game comes down to: Can LSU get to Patterson, while covering his checkdowns? Can they cover AJ Brown, Jefferson, Metcalf, and get to Patterson before he throws to them?

Can Ole Miss run the ball? Cal Ole Miss D get to the LSU QB?

I'm pretty excited. I think something like 24-31 type game.

I'm confident that Ole Miss-LSU on an October day in Oxford(or Baton Rouge for that matter) is usually gonna be a good time.

Seriously did. Thanks for the clarification. Aubs are dumb. We can't stop the run so that's pretty much all that needs to be said. Guice will go off and OM might keep it respectable

Hopefully we start with 2nd half LSU and not 1st quarter LSU.

Can OM slow down LSU enough to get in a scoring race?

Can Alan score for that matter?

We'll see. Hopefully it will be nice and cool outside for a change

Im pretty sure no Ole Miss fan has felt very confident at all this year, regardless of the opponent. With that said, if bad LSU shows up then maybe we have a shot if our offense is working. I give us a 20-25% chance.

Vandy made us look better than we are. LSU seems to be improving. Not very confident.

About as confident as a fan can be for a matchup between two inconsistent, poorly coached teams. That said, it should be fun.

Will Ole Miss even pretend to try to run?

It's a rivalry and LSU is coming off a big home win. It will be closer than most expect and could easily be an upset. Rebelblackbearsharks have a very good chance in this game. If LSU plays like they did in the 2nd half of the Auburn game then it would be a double digit win but Ole Miss always brings out the worst in the Tigers.

LSU always plays Ole Miss hard in Oxford. They should be favored by 63 points, just like BAMA.
