I like Kermit’s cheating arse. I like his guard motion too. It’s hard to play against defensively. When do you think you’ll make a tourney?

Kermit is a stand up guy. Can't tell you anything about his team and the portal, but he's a winner. He's got an adult special needs kid that he's always supported while being a full time college coach for several years. I'm a fan, for that alone.

If it makes you feel better, LSU is getting a transfer from NW State. Don’t know if he’s any good or not, but time will tell.

Pearl likes him too and always mentions his motion on offense through his guards. I don’t know Pearls record against Davis but I’d assume he’s given Pearl fits.

Ole Miss firing Andy Kennedy is still one of the most bizarre recent moves I can remember in the SEC.

After getting highly sought after, transfer in jayveous Mckinnis from Jackson state, a 6’7 back to the basket only center will dominate down low in the SEC

Ole miss comes in and steals the second best player from Loyola- New Orleans, Myles Burns, The reigning NATIONAL CHAMPION, of the NAIA division of the NCAA.

Myles Burns lead the NCAA in steals and shot a clean 18 percent from 3 and 50 percent from the free throw line.

Kermit has put together an outstanding transfer class looking to get ole miss to compete in the SEC this year

That could spin the sprocket of an old rusty tank.

I'm going to give you a little bit of knowledge so you don't look quite as stupid next time....the NAIA is not part of the NCAA. It's a completely different organization.

It was time to move on. AK helped elevate the program out of the absolute basement of NCAA basketball....but he reached his ceiling(and had an awful last season).

I wasn't one of the ones calling for his job early on....but I agreed it was ready to move on. The Kermit hire looked good at first....but bad hires happen to everyone. I figure he'll have next season to redeem himself or else fan support will be zero and that will force our hands in firing him.

Oh man. Ole Miss Basketball. Some of my best memories as a kid are eating an individual PaPa John’s pepperoni pizza in the Tad Pad on a school night.

That’s it. That’s the memory. Not the basketball being played. I watched us lose so many frickin games in that place on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Only 1 founding member of the SEC has never won the regular season championship in basketball. Only one. Hell aTm already won one.

The worst part about this whole thing is the press release in Myles Burns signing

A snippet:
quote:

Some have thought Myles was the most impactful player in NAIA basketball since Dennis Rodman,” Davis said.

I mean what the frick lol. He wasn’t the best player on his team

That's the ceiling for Ole Miss basketball.

he is not. This is 2022, not 1800s, taking care of an adult child with special needs when you're rich and have the means to doesn't make you a good person, it just means he has the most base level of human compassion possible.

It's what's expected of a father. Totally agree. Kermit DOES come across as a legitimately nice guy though. Genuine.

This is why I like ole miss fans. They don’t take themselves too seriously. Good people
