Ole Miss and Alabama are NCAA worthy teams

This conference is much better than it gets credit for in basketball.
UK
Arkansas
Vandy
UF
South Carolina
All should be in. Bama and Ole Miss do have cases, Bama should definitely be in with a win vs. UK today.
There is no way the ACC should have 10 teams in the tournament.

Bama lost to every team with a pulse in the non-conference. Ole Miss has three Top 100 wins all season.
Neither has a case beyond "eye test." They'll both do well for themselves in the NIT

Quality of basketball in the league is much better than last years.

I concur, but I'm all in on AJ as coach...You see energy that we didn't have under Grant. AJ let's the guys figure it out rather than micro manage every possession.

That's what killed us. The team really did not put it together until around January. Win just a couple of those OOC games and we'd be dancing.
Still a good year where there was clear improvement over the previous season. Under Grant, pretty much every season was a reboot and start over.

we lost every significant ooc game ... lost 5 of our last 10 games, 3 of them to teams with a worse record than ours ...
we don't deserve a bid by any stretch of the imagination ...
