I have to admit... I get a bit surly after spending two days hunting down Christmas presents. Tis the season to be grumpy darn it.

Did you really just say Oxford is expensive?

You've either never been to Oxford during a football game weekend or you've been and you stayed at a piece of shite hotel.

The legit spots that are on or near the square charge over $1,000 per night during a football game weekends.

I can afford that and obviously many others can, which is why they can get away with charging it. But regardless of how much money you have and what you can afford, relative to what hotels usually cost, this is objectively expensive.

tl;dr summary: You're a dumbass

Well I am sure that coastal FL town is going to be more expensive than most SEC college towns.

Been to Oxford several times and stayed Friday and Saturday.

We always get an Airbnb. Those prices you gave are the cost of 90% of SEC towns during game weekends.

I do agree Oxford doesn’t have many hotels or much of anything. Again if you think Oxford is expensive you need to get out of MS a little more.

Also, fans from East AR, LR and Memphis can easily make Oxford a day trip which is why it sounded like a neutral site game this year

I don't think he means on a day to day basis but game weekends can be pricey.

I live in Santa Barbara (more specifically, Montecito). I have the same zip code as Oprah. I can assure you I'm acutely aware of what is and is not expensive.

Lol never heard someone bragging about living in Cali which it’s obvious you don’t. I’m sure you’ve visited. Everyone is fleeing Cali and hoping an Earthquake takes it out away from the US to help the rest of the US from their awful policies and voting

If you really lived in Montecito you’d have your names on buildings at OM cause you’d be one of their richest boosters

Cute though. You went on a vacation before

You live in Biloxi bro and have a picture of Santa Barbara from your trip on the wall

Cute bro. You went on a vacation. I can tell by the way you act you can’t afford that place.

I left Cali when Google told me I could keep my job and work remote.

You are the only person I’ve heard brag about living there. I’d choose Florida 10/10 times and did.

Again Oxford isn’t expensive even on game weekends. It’s the same price as 90% of SEC towns on game weekends

Have fun with your lockdowns even though you won’t have to worry about them in Biloxi

Of course you did. Like I said, FL is the pinnacle of luxury to an Arky fan

It's a message board. Anyone can make up anything. But the fact that you 1) claim Naples and 2) think it's farfetched for anyone to live in Santa Barbara says a lot about you

I went to Ole Miss, but I have lived in San Francisco and New York as well.

Oxford is expensive when it wants to be.

Also spent some time working in NWA with Tyson and Sams (Walmart) corp. Nice area, shitty baby arse fans though.

You are kind of being a dipshit, to be a dipshit here.

Never said it was king of luxury to anyone. Just stated it was way more expensive than Oxford or any other SEC town even on game weekends.

Also, making fun of Arkansas fans who had the pleasure of going to college in the nicest area of any SEC town is a little wild to say the least. You spent 4-5 years or longer living in MS. There is nothing in Oxford and you stated it yourself.
It’s obvious by your laughing faces and the way you type you need to get ready for your finals little Johnny

I'll gladly take a ban bet on whether I live in SB. Happy to write on a piece of paper "Naples is for new money white trash" and take a pic of it in front a local SB restaurant if it means getting you banned

Deal?
