Punched our ticket against Jayhawks. Outscored them 21-3, football score just like old times. Never forgot how they treated Baker.

OU went 6-1 in regionals and supers.

Scored 70 runs and gave up 35.

Oklahoma Baseball just beat the ACC regular season and tournament champs and the Big 12 regular season and tournament champs in their route to Omaha, and did so in fashion.

Y'all are playing damn good ball now. Congrats on beating a helluva good team in Ga Tech, and showing us Hog fans how beatable Kansas is. We folded up like a cheap talent to that basketball school.

What makes this special is how we did it. Went on the road to the overall #2 seed. Were down 0-1 to GT and then won 2 games on their home turf. Then went to Kansas and had to do the same thing. And our bats came alive but pitching also mattered at key moments too. Kansas was a really good team and just ran into a buzz saw.

And to top it off, our first elimination game vs GT was 2 hours after we played a 3.5 hour game whereas GT was rested

15-8 vs GT
8-7 vs GT
8-1 vs Kansas
13-2 vs Kansas

Thats a crapload of runs against 2 very great teams. 44-18 runs vs given up. Even had to deal with game weather delayed a day.

I am so impressed with this team. The way we finished season was bad. Then one and done in SEC tourney. And that ending put us on road against these great teams. I gave us little chance of advancing.

No matter what happens in Omaha this team overachieved so far and I hope they can continue. But they earned my praise regardless.
